  1. I fully see his point, and in the Europe in which it developed, from Rome to the Pale of Settlement, in which a Jew accused was as good as dead, it made sense. Saying something embarrassing, true, but embarrassing in public, is lashon hara, and compared to spilling blood. But this is NOT what H" had in mind, nor Chazal.

  2. These people belong to a cult, they worship man. It reminds one of Jim Jones or David Koresh. These are the same types who refuse to work, live off the state and won’t serve.

  10. You say “he confronts evil.” I am glad to learn that you believe there is such a thing as evil. Would you then also concede that there is such a thing as sin? I am SO SICK of all this “touchy-feely,” let’s make nice, it’s all good, nonsense!

  13. Menachem — the majority of these Charedim don’t serve in the IDF and live off the state of Israel or state of NY. What did I say that wasn’t factual? They also organized a protest in NY against the IDF draft. Do you have facts or just emotion? I’m not saying they are bad, just misguided and taken advantage of by their cult leaders.
