  12. Actually a TOTAL lunar eclipse appears entirely red.  (It can never appear black because the entire circumference of Earth’s atmosphere bends plenty of red light in Moon’s direction.)  A partial lunar eclipse may have some red along its darkest part, but more likely the part that is more brightly illuminated will cause a perceptual wash-out of any red.  It is very common during “eclipse” seasons, which can occur once or twice per year (some years have none), for a solar eclipse to be followed by a lunar eclipse and then a solar eclipse, or for a lunar eclipse to be followed by a solar eclipse and then a lunar eclipse.  Although a lunar eclipse can be seen by the entire half of Earth that is experiencing night, the solar eclipse can only be seen along a very narrow path on the daytime side of Earth, depending on where Moon’s much smaller shadow touches down on Earth’s surface.  A total solar eclipse crossing Israel and a nearby total lunar eclipse that is visible from Israel might be of more interest viz-a-viz biblical references.  I find it rather far-fetched, however, to interpret the words quoted from Yoel as referring to eclipses in any way.

  13. Irv BrombergPonder it Four, blood moons on Jewish Feast days within two years in Israel is very rare
and has only occurred seven times since the time of Yeshua (Jesus).
There are now four blood moons scheduled to appear in 2014-2015 and then
there will NOT be any for the next 100 years.Every time a blood moon pattern has appeared on Jewish feast days a big event affects the nation of Israel. the most recent three tetrads of blood moons which fell on Biblical feasts occurred in the period from:1493-94
(shortly after Jews persecuted and evicted from Spain in 1492 and
Columbus (Jew) sailed to New World to find them a new home.
Columbus returned to America in 1493 with 1,500 men and 17 ships);1949-50 (after state of Israel for repatriating Jews was created in May 1948 in one day); and1967-68 (Jews capture Jerusalem in June 1967, the City of God, in a supernatural victory during the “Six Day War”).CHECK  WITH NASA

  14. The pillars of smoke could be a reference to nuclear war which would kick up dust and pollutants into the atmosphere and thus potentially cause a blood moon. I pray for peace but all too often what takes place is war. In the middle east we have wars and rumors of wars and sometimes rumors of a new peace deal on an almost weekly basis. In addition the killing of Christians has been like wild fires in the middle east. Iran claims they will not build the bomb but continue to spin their centrifuges. Current intelligence seems uncertain of when Iran could get the bomb and Israel cannot afford to gamble with this. Another question is rather or not the Russian/Syrian agreement will do the trick in Syria? Stay tuned. In July of 2012 I wrote a small book that speaks of salvation and some of what the Bible says will happen in the end times as well as what will happen during the period known as the seven (360 day) year tribulation and other soon to take place events. I don’t accept donations and it’s free. It’s about 6 or 7 pages, so it’s a short read. I encourage you to have a look:

Shalom, Actual schedule of Blood Red Moons is like this .. 1) Passover of 5774 (April 15th 2014); 2) Tabernacles 5775 (Oct 8th 2014); 3) Passover of 5775 (April 5th 2015) and 4) Tabernacles 5776 (Sept 28th 2015). Intersperses within those dates are two solar eclipses at 1) Rosh Chodesh Nissan (March 20th 2015) and 2) Rosh Hashanah Sept 13th 2015). Yaffah Batya in Jerusalem

    Comment by Mat Rooker — October 14, 2013 @ 12:02 AM

  35. I believe that Pastor Hagee is not using this to predict the coming of the Lord. He agrees that the coming of the Lord is immenent. But he does say that this points to something significant happening in relation to Israel. He says it could even be that the Gog and Magog war could happen as elaborated on in Ezikiel 38. It is also interesting to note in Jonathan Cahn's video the Isaiah 9:10 Judgement the the fall of the the stock market in America happened in 2001 on the 29th day of Elul on the Hebrew callendar and that the 2008 stock market crash occurred on the 29th day of Elul in 2008. After 7 years the 29th day of Elul will happen on September 13, 2015 and the next day September 14 will be the beginning of the Jewish new year. There are a lot of things that are pointing to the soon rapture of the church. No one is setting dates. But the Lord did say when we see these signs begin to happen then we are to look up for our redemption draweth nigh. The real message in all this is "Be Ready" . If you have not received Jesus as Lord and savior in accordance with Romans 10:9 and on. If you have not received Jesus Chris as Lord and Savior when he comes you will go into the Tribulation. I wouldn't want to gamble and not be ready. So any of you that read thiis, I would encourage to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord today and be born again like Jesus said in John 3:3

    Comment by Jim Blekfeld — October 15, 2013 @ 2:29 AM

  36. Amen Jim, We are told that God the Father only knows the day and hour, so I don't bother with trying to pin down dates. I like you however do see the prophecies and events and conclude that the rapture is at hand. For those of us who believe in Jesus and know about the rapture know that it will be in secret, while the day of the lord is the tribulation period which will end with the second coming of Jesus to the "ground" of the Earth with the saints. Paul points out that there will first be a world wide rejection of God before the tribulation period, so that points to the rapture taking us out prior to the tribulation. If Christians were here they would never reject Jesus Christ. Paul also said that the restrainer would be taken away before the anti-Christ would be revealed. The Christians would never have the Holy Spirit(restrainer) removed from them. That also points out to us being raptured at that time.

  39. Hagee preaches Jesus. He doesn't deny the Father and speaks with scripture. Jesus said that the false prophets will deny Him. If Hagee was a false prophet he would steer clear of the Bible and the name of Jesus. Sorry buddy but he speaks in Jesus' name often. And if you listened to Hagee long enough or read his books you would see that he speaks of salvation as it says in Roman 10:9-10.

God said we won't know the day or hour BUT we can know the season. Read Matt 24 where Jesus tells of the things that are happening in the world and "then the end will come". God doesn't want us in the dark.

The Pastor that talked about the 12/12/12 thing has nothing to do with Hagee so to lump them together is wrong.

    Comment by Jacki Swerbensky — October 23, 2013 @ 11:57 PM

  40. To those of you that assume Hagee says the blood moons refer to Jesus' return – have you read the book? Listened to his interview? If you had, you would know that he said no such thing. He said that something big is going to happen. Something major is going to change. He never said it was for sure the coming of the Lord. Gesh, I wish people would get their facts straight before making such silly comments.

  44. Biltz’s website declares: “We do not want to convert Jews to Christianity or Christians to Judaism,” which works for me.

The problem that Blitz doesn't recognize is that Christianity is Judaism while Jews still practice "old" Judaism. Judaism has always allow the adoption of other people into faith, but under Christ that adoption has been bought and paid for by His blood. Thus making animal sacrifices a thing of the past.
