Iran a killer of Jewish men, women and children???Don't forget the use of cluster bombs, phosphorous gas and the mass killings in Gaza by the most moral army in the world.

So what? Are you aware of the Jewish Lobby in our congress?

Paul Hatgil, this lie about cluster bombs in Gaza back in 2009 has already been debunked several times over, except in the minds of those who want it to be true, In addition it is illogical since they would have to have been dropped during insertion, resulting in potential deaths of the IDF forces. Secondly, cluster bombs don't leave a smoke trail. These were actually bombs deploying a smokescreen creating agent for incursion. Any cluster bombs would have been dropped after having left the field of battle, as in Lebanon in 2006. As Mark Twain said, “A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes.” Finally, there is nothing moral about war. War is a last result, except in the minds of islamist terrorist, serial killers, really.
(quote from article) "Then there are the oft-repeated genocidal aspirations of the Iranian government itself to wipe the State of Israel off the map."

The sadists of the IDF used white phosphorous in Gaza and cluster bombs in Lebanon, not just in 2006, but also in 1982, to the point that Pres. Reagan suspended further shipment of the weapons to the Israeli Wehrmacht which murdered 18,000 Lebanese and Palestinian civilians in the first few weeks of their invasion.
Talk is cheap, and Rouhani certainly is saying all the right things. Time will tell if this is just a "peace offensive." The USSR engaged in many, as did the Nazis, and the Japanese were engaged in one on December 7th, 1941, even as their Mitsubishi Zeros were on their way to Pearl Harbor.
That being said, it certainly behooves Obama and the rest of the world to hold fire until it can be verified that Rouhani's nice talk is actually bogus. It may not be. Iran has been subject to severe sanctions over the past couple years, and the Iranian people, for the most part, are sick and tired of the mullahs' and the Revolutionary Guards' idiocy.
Fortunately for both the US and the USSR, Shmuley Boteach was not in charge when Gorbachev began his glastnost and peristroika initiatives. It's perfectly prudent to be skeptical, but as usual, Boteach has an agenda, which is that of his benefactors.
