  3. This cartoon will fuel more anti-Semitic debate.

  4. Jewish Journal editor Rob Eshman has released a statement stating, “we are especially sensitive to the impression many have that the cartoon somehow trivializes the horrific, real suffering wrought by Islamic terrorists. That is clearly not Greenberg’s intention – and I offer my apology to anyone who sees the cartoon exclusively in that light.”

  6. Eshman actually nailed it, Yori. The Tea Party is a bunch of seditious extortionists who belong behind bars at Gitmo, not the U.S. Congress.

As for your acquaintance Abbie Hoffman, it's time for the two of you to get re-acquainted.

  8. Secular Judaism is a curse brought to us when the Russians would kidnap young Jewish boys for their army, returning them (if they survived) after 25 years of military service…having missed their best years at home learning and studying about who we are and what we, all Jews, are doing here. Shameful name calling from those who claim to be our own is disrespectful to every Jew…and everyone else as well!

  9. Actually, you're the one who's bonkers. American Jews, even right-wing ones like Jennifer Rubin, pretty much agree with this assessment (she's calling for these teahadists to be taken out in the Republican primary [won't happen because GOP primary voters are also bonkers])

  10. The article is dead on and Dan Silagi is a talking pointer. Nothing new there. Insults and diatribe.

  11. Oh, you were a 60's/70's radical? That explains a lot …

  12. Over the years I've voted for more Republicans than Democrats, including Reagan, both times. You don't know what the hell you're talking about. These fools are more akin to the black-cloaked fools who broke windows in Seattle a couple years ago to protest "globalization" than to Reagan and the two Bushes.

  13. Same old business as usual for self-hating liberal, misguided Southern California Jews. Thank G-d for the Tea Party! Too bad the mainstream GOP doesn't wake up and eliminate the need for having a Tea Party by going back to their true roots and values.
