I'm not sure what to make of this article?? A greater number of Orthodox Jews choose to remain observant, well no duh, you''ve been raise to fear and love HaShem, it's second nature. It's what we say every morning of every day. Non-orthodox tend to opt out, again, well no duh, when you decide you are the final decider in life, you've taken on the role of god, who can give up such a neat job to something like Shobbos. So what if it means, quiet time with your family and observing that tradition that HaShem has stated, mattered to Him so many times.
Let me get this right, Orthodox success is doe to the freedom in a country with a strict legal limit of 1.6 ga. of water for your toilet? REALLY
