A fantastic cross community effort in order to counter the bigotry , lies and propaganda disseminated by the local chapter of the fascistic BDS

  5. Right on sister…this is yet another example of the mind-bending stupidity of of the sloganeers who depend on their gonads for mental prowess, rather than an informed brain. It is also a demonstration of why these types don't launch off against, Syria, Hamas, Hezbollah and the rest of the dirty dozen…because Israel won't slap their little heinies for being ignorant fools.

    Comment by Gil Gilman — October 18, 2013 @ 1:44 PM

  6. Good on her…dear lady we cheer you on, you champion the lives of every Jew in the face of such evil and disrespect as comes from islam…and a very few 'secular' Jews who have lost their souls to ignorance!

  8. Typical.

  9. Unfortunately, there are too many ignorant college students who think of nothing but to disrupt any speaker who is telling the truth about the real situation in Israel. They are cowards in every sense of the word. They do not know how to listen because they have been brainwashed by the stupid media. They should have been restrained with tape put over their mouths and been made to sit and listen. Even if this did happen it would not matter to these people because they would just go on to the next speaker and do the same thing. Congratulations to Miss Berko for speaking out at the time.

  10. Any Jew who still maintains a residence in South Africa along with the Zombies who live there, should be excommunicated from the Jewish religion.

  13. I personally would challenge the heckler to come on stage, look me in the eye, and repeat his comments. He'll be waking up in 5775.

  14. Maybe you can help get them out with all their belongings. Your smart enough to attend the prestigious school of management. Your solution doesn't sound like a person that is learning much.

  19. Cody Flecker The Jews of South Africa would respond to your brilliant comment but we're currently being chased by the Zombies that live here. Please send Brad Pitt and some management consultants to help urgently. Thank you.

  20. They are even more ignorant than you believe …. have a look at this – and then do something about it wherever you live or whenever you hear the usual protestations from those who think we've had enough of hearing about the holocaust –

    Comment by Steve Loeb — October 18, 2013 @ 11:45 PM

  21. unfortunately if more Jews would stop voting Democrat, Israel would have friends in the white house instead of enemies that support Israel's enemies. the protesters were Democrats……do you finally get it? Stop voting Democrat. They are not friends of Israel!

  26. I am an independent. Israel will do what israel needs to do regardless of the party in power in the U.S. I am not enthralled with our current foreign policy, but I do not think having the Tea Party in power is a panacea for Israel or anyone else.

  33. We need a couple of thousand Anat Berkos to go around the United States, Canada and there might even still be hope for parts of Europe and just provide information to the public, including all those ignoramuses who are looking only to incite. Some of them may even stop to listen and learn something at some point in time.

    Comment by Lionel Gaffen — October 20, 2013 @ 8:28 PM

  34. Not bad. A few more like her and MCPs like me will be out of business. But next time take along a male sidekick who could follow those anti-Semites outside and show them a different kind of Jew.

    Comment by Zev Stern — October 21, 2013 @ 4:00 PM

  35. It would have been worse in a British University. There she would be interrupted by a hundred of hecklers and just a few willing to listen and discern the truth.

    Comment by Margarita Isenstein — October 21, 2013 @ 7:44 PM

  36. This group is not "Anti-Israel", and they were peacefully protesting – just because you do not agree with their point of view does not mean you can misrepresent them as a bunch of heckling "American college students".

    Comment by Amanda Nelson — October 23, 2013 @ 12:42 AM

  37. Right-wing Israelis and Zionists downplaying the significance and value of peaceful protest is nothing new. They're so used to using bullets and white phosphorus that it's hard for them to find another outlet of expression and instead resort to collectivizing an entire resistance movement as a group of disgruntled hecklers.

  39. Kristalnacht 1938 – Israel 2013.

This weekend is the 75th anniversary of Kristalnacht – the Night of Broken Glass – when over a thousands synagogues were destroyed and 30,000 Jews were taken to concentration camps in Nazi Germany.
Listen to this powerful and poignant presentation by Barry Shaw about Kristalnacht and its significance today as he speaks on Pastor Jerry Clark's 'A Christian Voice for Israel.'!

    Comment by Barry Shaw — November 8, 2013 @ 6:40 AM

  40. What a silly thing to say. If they want to "protest," they could protest outside, or, basically wherever they want to go. What they cannot do is attempt to stifle the free speech of someone they disagree with.

Also…they aren't anti-Israel? They are, by definition, anti-Israel. Come on now.

    Comment by Brian Schwartz — November 16, 2013 @ 1:26 AM

  41. you make a good point, and yes they are "anti-Israel". Honestly, you made a good point – and after reading my comment, it doesn't make sense! I'm sorry about that.

I still think that their protest was misrepresented in this article, however. I would like to draw attention to the fact that the leaders of this group are motivated by a search for justice, not for a "spotlight". The walkout is not trying to suppress the other group's free speech, but rather it is a way of drawing to attention that these events – which appear normal and innocent to many people – are actually a way of normalizing the Israeli government's mistreatment of the Palestinians.

    Comment by Amanda Nelson — November 16, 2013 @ 6:14 AM

  42. Brian Schwartz , what you said directly reflects SJP's actions – they wanted to protest AT the event (not outside), so they did just that. They were not attempting to stifle Anat Berko's freedom of speech, just countering her argument as well as bringing up relevant truths to the dialogue. If Berko's agenda was morally sound and the state that she represents was not currently enforcing an apartheid upon a million people that the world is slowly starting to become very aware (and displeased) of, then these "heckling American college students" would not have been "heckling" at all.
