  9. In answer to the author's question: There are two reasons why, against all odds and reason, Obama/Kerry is doing this: First, the Arab lobby in the U.S. Second, the alternative is to admit Israel is right…and the consequences of that lead to having to confront the Arab/Moslem world in the same way we confronted the Soviet Bloc over West Berlin during the Cold War. But during the Cold War we had leaders who understood what America and the West stood for, and had the resolve to defend the same. Today, we have leaders who basically don't believe in anything except their own egos, are utter cowards, and who basically hate America and have disdain for what she has stood for in a traditional sense. Our current leadership in the U.S. is not even close to being an "honest broker"…they are squarely on the side of the Palestinian terrorist thugs and their backers. Israel is on her own until there are either a) major changes in national leadership in the U.S., or b) Israel finds a new major power strategic partner (China?). Those are the hard facts. Sorry, Israel, for Obama. I never voted for him. I can't fathom why so many of my fellow Jews here supported him, particularly the second time around; this set a new standard for stupidity. Hang in there. And remember, you are NOT merely "on your own"…we have our G-d. HE has your back. Chazak!
