  1. G-d did not make us from animals , isn’t it a sin to sleep with animals? So what makes anyone think he would make us out of an animal ?

  2. How can evolution help add more depth and understanding when the theory is we descended from primates? It leaves the creator out of the mix and does not give credit where it’s due.

  3. Man is separate as far as intelligence, it is simply the body that is made of the same material as the animals. We are not “descended from monkeys”, yet we share commonality in our make up.Adonai made the material with which He made all living. He then stepped back and allowed it to develop. This should not threaten anyones faith.

  5. please, dont be ignorant….of course we came from animals, we are the best of the apes….or you believe there was a snake talking and walking? is this more credible? or that your beloved god drowned all the world because god was angry? creationism is pure bull

  6. Read the article, it does not leave the creator out of anything. It is not a theory, it is scientific fact.

  8. One way to look at it. Create a frenzy to really get into the Torah for many!

  9. Richard, they may need to find that out for themselves. We have Jews via ancestry and ones just getting to know all one could know about being a Jew which can take a life time.

  10. Israel, some people just need to find that out for themselves.

  11. Darwinian evolution is not science – it's man's feeble attempt to explain creation without G-d. I beg to differ with Rabbi Aviner – The question IS, "Did man evolve from animals?" because if you believe he did, you can't believe in HaShem. Students should know about the THEORY of evolution so they understand its absurdities! The curriculum: Bring back in print Josh Greenberger's, "Human Intelligence Gone Ape."

  12. Charles Darwin was not a Christian. Read his letters that his son Francis collected. He described himself as confused and as an agnostic. He specifically said that he did not believe that there had ever been any divine revelation. It is nonsense to say that Abraham existed but that Adam did not exist. Philosophical theologians can wrap their heads around that nonsensical concept, but ordinary people cannot. As a result, if ordinary school students are taught, and believe, the lies of evolutionism, then they WILL reject the Torah. You can count on it.

  13. People do not realize that when they say they believe in Darwin's theories, they area also saying they are a racists who believes that the more melanin you have the closer to apes you are. They are also saying they believe in slavery and dehumanizing others for gain. But they will deny it until you tell the the REAL title of Darwin's book: On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.” If you are a follower of Darwin, you are a racist who condones murder and slavery. There is no other choice.

  14. Paulette Chretien If we evolved from lower animals, it is an inescapable inference that some men are probably more evolved than other men.

    Comment by Thomas Gray — June 7, 2014 @ 1:14 AM

  15. So….what are you all commenters say, that God created the man and then took a rib from him to create the woman??? Why do you feel so threatened by the belief of the evolution theory? Just because the creationism belief existed for so long doesn't mean it's THE right theory! So slavery and syphilis and gonorrhea existed for ever!!!
