  1. The mainstream protestant churches were hijacked by the Left decades ago.

    Comment by Christopher Mahoney — June 21, 2014 @ 9:35 PM

  2. Targeting "only American companies profiting from West Bank security systems" makes this particularly vile. It means attempts to stop Jew killing are deemed immoral.

    Comment by Philip Israel Witriol — June 21, 2014 @ 10:20 PM

  3. How stupid and self-defeating, to divest from three of the most profitable companies in the world. I spit on the Presbyterian Church. The very close vote shows that at least almost half of them are still capable of rational thought. Maybe they will split off and form a new church.

    Comment by Jackie Rozell — June 21, 2014 @ 10:36 PM

  4. That's not true most practicing protestants are Republicans, being a Democrat sort of goes against fundamental beliefs.

    Comment by Elyse Dorm — June 22, 2014 @ 12:55 AM

  5. And the Presbyterians are saying what about the murder of Christians within the Islamic world? And the Jews supporting BDS say what about Arab anti-Semitism and the call to exterminate Jews? Let them live in Gaza and see how much they will be loved.

  6. Not all protestant churches, I agree, the United Church of Canada, the Presbyterian, the roman catholic all speak with forked tonque. Shalom and G-d bless

  7. so why bother letting these Christians visit Israel and being taught and employed by Jews?

    Comment by Yechiel Baum — June 22, 2014 @ 1:30 AM

  8. é triste, mas eles estão a cada dia se distanciando da Palavra de Deus. Há outras igrejas Presbiterianas que apoiam Israel, esta não é a unica em USA.

  9. My last conversation with a Presbyterian minister was triggered by the fact that he told me that he was an atheist.

    Comment by Joseph Colen — June 22, 2014 @ 5:11 AM

  10. If that Christian Church wants to divest, they should just stop buying and usin anything from Israel or invented in Israel.. Don't use a computer with a Intel chip,Don't let your Doctor order an MRI on you,Don't use your smart phone Especially take the sim card out of your phone, don't use soaker hoses or drip irrigation in your garden. Buy brand name drugs to avoid the cheap high quality generics made by the biggest generic drug Co (Israeli), Demand that us military stop using Drones( Invented in Israel) Go back to living in a cave ,that way you don't have to worry about helping the Jewish state.

  11. Most BDS advocates are flat out antisemites who want to destroy Israel. That includes many Chrisntian churches. They never protest about the persecution of their fellow Christians in the Arab world where they are frequently murdered just because they are Christians. "It's OK they Arabs aren't Jews." "To H-ll with worrying about the persecution of the Coptic Christians in Egypt, lets go after the Jewish country." . Does any of this BDS by a Christian orgaization bother you? We went from being " Christ Killers "to being unfair to the Palestinians. Any cause will do

    Comment by Stuart Oppenheimer — June 22, 2014 @ 6:05 AM

  12. I wonder of the Presbyterian has divested from the companies that sell arms to the Palestinians? I wonder if they are boycotting all the companies in countries that sell and resell arms to the Palestinians or is it just a Jewish thing? If the were serious they would boycott all companies that sell arms directly or indirectly to the Palestinians!

    Comment by Edward Lobel — June 22, 2014 @ 6:21 AM

  13. The BDS movement will not bring down Israel. It has survived wars, terrorism and economic crises. The BDS movement is a disgrace and it must be continue to be targeted by Israel to expose its real agenda.

    Comment by Ian Caulfield — June 22, 2014 @ 10:13 AM

  14. I support your comments Stuart. Muslims are killing Christians in the Middle East, Africa and elsewhere and Christians in the West put their heads in the sand.

    Comment by Ian Caulfield — June 22, 2014 @ 10:15 AM

  15. I cannot understand why they voted that way. It can only mean they are anti Zionists. Muslims are killing christians all the time except in Israel. Why is that ?
