America….Come on….Stop pretending to care…and start helping Israel…We have say in this…”I will curse those who curse Israel…and bless the ones that bless her”

  9. How many babies were killed? How many children? I find it absolutely APPALLING and INSULTING that this article was even published. The IDF is killing a Palestinian child every hour! EVERY HOUR! When will you publish the names of the children murdered by the IDF? Why don’t Palestinian children matter?

  11. “What happened to the Jewish people at the hands of the Nazis is appalling. But you would think those atrocities would give Israelis a unique sense of perspective and empathy with the victims of a ghetto.”

“Those who live in Gaza are kept like prisoners behind walls and fences, unable to escape the bombings, and an Israeli economic blockade has forced Palestinians into poverty.”

  15. Sarah Hussein – If Israel put down its arms now your friends in Hamas would slaughter every one of us. If Hamas out down their arms now there would be peace and tranquility to be followed by a prosperous life for all in gaza. Isn’t it time you started blaming the right people for what we all agree is a tragedy.

    Comment by Laurice Bolnick Mendelowitz — July 27, 2014 @ 2:42 PM

  16. Have you seen your own Hamas taking children as a shield, using schools, hospitals, private homes to shoot their rockets to Israel? Do you know, that the Palestinians are not allowed to go to shelters? Hamas wants as many dead Palestinians as possible? Israel has no interest in killing. Israel wants peace. We all cry for each soldier lost in this war. We do care for each human being in this world, whatever his religion is. Open your eyes and stop being blind.

    Comment by Malka Guttmann-Sharbani — July 27, 2014 @ 3:10 PM

  17. Laurice, you sound like a broken record. This is what you are trained to tell us. Israel will be wiped out blah blah blah.. Maybe stop committing war crimes? Maybe stop illegally occupying land that is not yours?

  23. Sarah open your eyes. Hamas is a terrorist organisation. Israel is just defending itself. We do not wish for children, women or men of any religion to be killed. We just want to be able to live without having rockets and tunnels that do and could cause many deaths. We are a people that honours life!!!! I stand with Israel!

  30. “People don’t really know what their children are reading in textbooks,” she said. “One question that bothers many people is how do you explain the cruel behaviour of Israeli soldiers towards Palestinians, an indifference to human suffering, the inflicting of suffering. People ask how can these nice Jewish boys and girls become monsters once they put on a uniform. I think the major reason for that is education. So I wanted to see how school books represent Palestinians.”

“The killing of Palestinians is depicted as something that was necessary for the survival of the nascent Jewish state, she claims. “It’s not that the massacres are denied, they are represented in Israeli school books as something that in the long run was good for the Jewish state.”

  34. Tell me, how can it be, that mothers are proud of their children going out carrying explosives to kill themselves and others? We would never do such a barbarian thing. The biggest suffering for a mother is to loose a child. Even a mother lion protects her own little babies with all her strength. We don’t’t want war,

  35. Israel has a right to defend itself and if that means taking out terrorists tunnels and so forth, so be it. Islamic sympathizers like Sarah should give herself over to Hamas who will probably gladly find a place to put her like in front of them as a human shield.

    Comment by Raines — July 27, 2014 @ 5:27 PM

  36. Insane Hussein, You add nd your friends live in a state of denial. Israel err l tries to avoid civilian casualties, while Hamas and the other groups try to maximize them for propaganda purposes. You all post things claiming unilateral unprovoked attacks by Israel and claiming fantastical power of the omnipotence of “The Jews”. You act as though all of Hamas’ Terrorist Acts were unalloyed heroism. Let me clue you in. Launching rockets from civilian quarters and telling the residents to ignore warnings to flee is not heroic. Shooting an old man in a wheelchair and throwing him off a cruise ship is not heroic. Kidnapping and murdering teenagers is not heroic. When all this is history, Hamas will not be celebrated as heroes, but seen as the Thugee cult of India is seen today. Remembered by few and lamented by none.

The mainstream media must think we are stupid as there boss, Obama, does.. To show pictures of Palestinians everyday is the most bias reporting I have ever seen. I am turning the TV off when they come on. Israel most think we are nuts over here.

  44. Hi Sarah, Salam Aleikum, I’ve been thinking about our opinions Exchange. We write to each other and have different thoughts and opinions. There is something we have in common. We are sisters. We have the same father, Abraham and we believe in the same G-d. You call him Allah and I call him Elokim. Usually brothers and sisters love each other and fight with each other. I want you to know, That I also care for your People. I cry when I see the children and mothers suffering. I’m not happy when civilians in Gaza die. I don,t like all what’s going on either. I don’t want to convince you of my opinion.
