Raphael Israeli is professor of Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies and Chinese History at Hebrew University. He is the author of 18 books on the Middle East, Islam and Sino-Islamic relations, including "Islamikaze" (Frank Cass, London, 2003) and "The Iraq War: Hidden Agendas and Babylonian Intrigue" (Sussex Academic Press, 2004).
