The Paranoid Editor of the Yated

Rabbi Lipschutz is not stupid. He must know that his paper is available to all people, not only to those ultra Orthodox Jews who may be like minded. It takes someone indoctrinated to always think the worst of non Jews no matter how much evidence there is to the contrary – to say what he said – and believe he has served the Jewish people well by saying it.

Why do I care what the Yated says? A paper that even many Charedim think is a piece of garbage?! The answer is that he has made his feelings public. Feelings that demonstrate a near state of delusion about the American people…  all based on a headline in a sensationalist newspaper.

Rabbi Lipschutz has now given the American people another reason to hate and fear us by his paranoid attack against fellow Americans.  He needs to be called out publicly for doing it. I wish I could just ignore him. But as long as his words appear online, my words about him will too – in strong protest against them. His views are a complete distortion of the truth. And truth is something I champion around here.

  1. It seems to me Stark only needed one enemy with proper intentions and connections. The premise in this article is wrong. This article claims that the Post was justified in their front page headline because, a quote from the above: he must have made a lot of people angry to have been murdered execution style in what may have been a mob hit.
This mistake is the foundation for the rest of the article, making the entire article a mistake. The Post did not have reason to print what they did because Stark did not need a list of enemies. In fact, what did the one responsible for the murder accomplish? He can't get his money now, if that was his goal. It would make more sense that Stark was being used as an example to scare someone else. Which could mean he has no enemies at all. Since the Post gave only unnamed sources, there is no reason to believe their reporting.

  2. Ronny Mol says:

    Dear Harry,
As a Orthodox Jew you are misleading other Jews into thinking that the US is the holy land. As you know, the golus is NOT to be a 24/7 party where we can enjoy the benefits of America without looking over our shoulders. Tell the real truth. America is broke. There is NOT a city in America is that is not on the edge of bankruptcy. The American experience has caused millions of Jews to disavow their heritage. Reform and Con. Jews make being Jewish even worse by marrying goyim to Jews. All is NOT well with Jews in America. Jews who know finance acknowledge that inflation will hit hard, with taxes going up. Who is to blame? Historically, it has been the Jews. Get prepared to leave now, it takes over a year to get your aliyah plans finalized. Fanatic? Time will tell who is right.

  3. Charlie Hall says:

Rabbi Lipschutz is upset to find that the NY Post has adopted the same techniques he regularly used in the Yated to criticize his own opponents.

  4. Itche says:

This guy’s a nutcase and needs to be called out. Thanks Harry.

  5. Ezra says:

Stark or Perlmutter or Kestenbaum were never heroes in the williamsburg community. Most decent williamsburgers will tell you that these guys are old thugs who got away with murder up to now. Dont buy what these so called leaders are saying, they all preach and swear on the mighty $ that they may have benefited from these thugs, Kestenabum and Perlmutter throw around money in the community only to enhance their thuggish images. Any leader who calls these guys heroes is stipping to the same low level as the thugs,

Inevitably when tragedies like this happen there is a sudden burst of Achdus. Tragedies unite.

Looking for a spiritual cause of a tragedy is a time honored tradition in Judaism.

It would be tragic beyond all proportion if Yeshiva University were to fold. I don’t think that is going to happen.

Radical Islam is an idea, not an organization. It is the enemy, not terrorism.

Unfortunately it really doesn’t matter what the common Muslim wants. Fanatic religious fervor trumps it all.

It seems like now more than ever Frumkeit has replaced sincerity as the primary focus of the right.
