    The thing is, the Mayans wrote in pictograms. When doing the math, someone obviously forgot to carry the ocelot. Oops, doomsday is next week. Sorry 'bout that!

  5. I think the Mayans hit it on right here. The Apocalypse was that the current paradigm can't exist without cheap energy. The connection of the failure being in the Areas of Energy, Housing System, and Monetary System each failure playing on the interconnections and dependencies between these systems in the current paradigm.
