I'm a cartoon fan, and yet, this specific cartoon requires Judaic understanding. Anyone please explain the humor here for me? Thanks a ZI- lli-ON.
The period of Chol Ha'Moed is the intermediary days between the first and last of the week-long holidays of Passover and Sukkot. However, the third major holiday, Shavuos, only has one day (or two in Diasporah) and no inermediary days. What the husband is saying here is that he will NEVER eat lettuce.
Ariam Ronaele Otorpo Thanks for enjoying the cartoon with me. But I like lettuce.
Dear Ruth. I was'nt born 100% Jewish but I can't remember that there was a time I did't understood Jewish humor, I realy deeply hope it will get yours it's what keeps you going after all bad and sad things you'l see every day . So this is the only way for my to stay on my feet and fight those bad things and everything comes to a better in the end of the day! So Jewish humor maybe has to grow on you ,but I realy wish you good luck, there is a place for everything in everybody's life. Miriam Lea Levy.
