Rumors are flying around the internet about discrepancies in the publicized results from the Likud Primaries.

No one is saying that Feiglin won or even came close, but rather that his numbers seem to have been under-reported to the press, perhaps in order to make Netanyahu's victory seem larger than it was.

On a private discussion group, a number of people claiming to have been at actual ballot countings are saying that Feiglin's real numbers are higher than what is being reported in the papers.

The numbers reported in the papers were the one's given to them by the Likud.

Members of the group claim that among the cities with discrepancies are:

Beit Shemesh

Ma'aleh Adumim

Tel Aviv – Hadar Yosef

and others.

While this completely remains in the realm of conspiracies and rumors, the question is, will anyone in the mainstream press at least do some investigative journalism to put this to rest or prove it true?  Anyone? Anyone?

UPDATE:

Feiglin plans to file formal charges with the Likud Election Committee. It appears the rumors may be more than just rumors.

In Beit Shemesh it was reported that Feiglin beat Netanyahu by 126 to 77, but Feiglin claims that the real count was 274 to 60.

Feiglin isn't claiming he beat Netanyahu, but that the numbers have been skewed in Netanyahu's favor.
