Hillary Clinton Evaded Examination By FBI

The Justice Department’s internal watchdog division documented in its report released last week that the FBI’s criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s misuse of her private email server never actually designated Clinton as a subject or target of the official probe.

This news comes even though former FBI Director James Comey described Clinton as the subject during his overview to the Justice Department’s Office of the Inspector General, which released its 500-plus page report. The report also documented how Comey and former deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe were highly involved in overseeing the probe.

The report, reviewed in full by this reporter, quotes Randall Coleman, the former assistant director of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division, as expressing shock that the FBI investigation remained designated as “unknown subject(s),” known within the FBI as UNSUB, even as it became clear the investigation started to focus on Clinton.

Another significant part of the report largely ignored by the news media raised significant questions about why the FBI did not examine the contents of Clinton aide Huma Abedin’s private email accounts and did not seek to obtain Abedin’s personal devices to determine whether classified information was exchanged.

The report noted Abedin should have been a point of interest since the FBI obtained from other sources classified email exchanges between Clinton and Abedin that were missing from the 30,490 emails turned over to the State Department by Clinton’s attorneys. Clinton had claimed the remaining emails were not work-related.

Also, the report documented that the FBI did not go after Abedin’s emails or devices even though she was “the only State Department employee, besides Clinton, with an account on the clintonemail.com domain on Clinton’s server.”

The report cited FBI General Counsel Jim Baker saying he believed the FBI has probable cause to review all of Abedin’s email accounts.

And another major bombshell in the report overlooked by the news media cites FBI describing an extraordinary system of communication set up between former deputy director Andrew McCabe and FBI official Lisa Page that bypassed the ordinary chain of command to communicate important information about the agency’s probe of Hillary Clinton’s email server.

The method of communication involved FBI official Peter Strzok, who was romantically involved with Page, sending information on the Clinton probe to McCabe through Page, the report found. Page and Strzok have been the subject of public controversy following revelations last December that they exchanged a series of anti-Trump text messages. Still more anti-Trump messages were revealed in the report, including one exchange in which the duo discussing stopping Trump from becoming president.

The IG report found that Page, McCabe and Strzok’s circle of contact cut out two top FBI officials from the chain of communication, namely E.W. Priestap, assistant director of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division and Michael Steinbach, who served as executive assistant director of the agency’s national security branch.

UN Targets Israel And Ignores Hamas – Yet Again

In a mockery of international diplomacy, the United Nations General Assembly last week accepted the Hamas terrorist organization’s propaganda narrative and voted to condemn what it claims is Israel’s “excessive, disproportionate and indiscriminate” use of force against Palestinian rioters.

The UN specifically voted not to condemn Hamas violence as part of a rejected American amendment and further called for a report within 60 days to contain “recommendations regarding an international protection mechanism” for the Palestinians.

The twisted resolution inverts the reality of a situation in which Hamas orchestrated violent riots openly aimed at storming Israel’s borders and murdering Jews.

Without any evidence or official investigation, and in fact contrary to much evidence, the UN accused the Israel Defense Forces, one of the most moral militaries in the world, of using excessive force during an unprecedented and savage Hamas campaign to violate a nation-state’s borders that saw rioters repeatedly attack Israeli soldiers.

Even the mainstream news media, which has largely been using unverified Hamas casualty counts, has documented the unmistakably violent nature of the riots.

The venom was dripping from the text of the resolution, which referred to “Occupied Palestinian Territory” instead of disputed territory and used the name of a nonexistent city – East Jerusalem – to imply that the eastern sections of Jerusalem are entirely Palestinian.

The text “demands that Israel, the occupying Power, refrain from such actions and fully abide by its legal obligations and responsibilities” under international treaties, implying that Israel does not currently protect civilians when the IDF goes to greater lengths than perhaps any other military to do just that.
