For now we continue to daven and learn on Izzy’s behalf knowing that whatever He deems to be the future for Izzy will be 100% for the best. To that end, I have created a new email account, [email protected], and humbly request that each and every one of you, as well as your friends, family, and neighbors, join us in forging a group of 600,000 people across the globe who are praying for a miracle in behalf of Izzy. Below is sample text that you can send around and then forward to [email protected]:

I am one of the 600,000 people who are praying for Izzy Zundell (Yisroel Alter ben Chava Chana), a three year old boy, who is currently suffering from a genetic disorder called Leukodystrophy. This disease is progressive, irreversible, and unfortunately fatal. Without the divine intervention of God, Izzy’s life expectancy is only approximately five more years; years that will be fraught with continuous regression of his cognitive and physical skills, and the slow but steady breakdown of his body systems, in until such time that he’s likely to succumb to this ugly disease. I continue to pray for divine intervention; whereby God could, if He  so desires, miraculously save this innocent little angel from the current fate that awaits him.

To follow Izzy’s battle, including daily updates, please visit his CaringBridge site (http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/izzyzundellsjourney/journal).

We have also started the HILL (Help Izzy Lick Leukodystrophy) Fund, a campaign to raise the $2,500/month to defray Izzy’s medical costs that are not covered by my insurance. The quickest way to join Team Izzy is to use the secure GoFundMe website (http://funds.gofundme.com/index.php?route=fundmanager&url=5mjlr4).

Alternatively, you can remit your tax deductible checks to:

Congregation Adas Yeshurun
3050 W Touhy Ave
Chicago, IL 60645
Please make out the check to Congregation Adas Yeshurun, and include “Izzy Zundell – HILL-2014” in the memo.

Thank you and may all of our tefillos be answered b’rachamim.
