This point goes a long way toward explaining the so-called anti-Israel/anti-Semitism divide. Yes, one can criticize Israel without being anti-Semitic. But the degree of focus on Israel’s alleged war crimes – at the UN, in the media, among most populations outside America – is so blatantly out of proportion that anyone or any group heaping so much scorn on a country as moral as Israel and on an army as moral as the IDF deserves the condemnation of truly moral people everywhere.
