Mikol melamdai heskalti begins at home. Bravo!
I agree – although originally that phrase means that I become ** wiser ** than all my teaches when I study the Torah (see תהילים קיט צט)
Pirkei Avot interprets it (beautifully IMHO) to mean one learns from many teachers… mi hu haham? halomed mikol adam – shene'emar mikol melamdai heskalti (sorry – I'm sitting at a computer without Hebrew fonts)
You're absolutely right about that (and other) interpretations, including, I think, Rashi). I'm just saying that in the original text in Tehilim, the full sentence is: "M'Kol Melamdai Hiskalti, Ki Edutcha Sicha Li"…
