Too many Palestinians continue to live in a false world, in which Israel is the enemy and they are made to play the fool. Within this “dystopia,” radicalism is the norm, and logic is the burden of the weak. Consequently, as Israeli-Palestinian journalist Khaled Abu Toameh puts it: “PA President Mahmoud Abbas and his men have been convicted of high treason – which, in the Arab and Islamic world, is a crime punishable by death.”
Thus the Palestinian Authority may soon be history, and with it the notion of a “moderate” Palestinian. But, as PaliLeaks demonstrates, the truth is that he never existed.
