In Parshat Vayigash (Genesis 44:18-47:27) we learn about the power of a truly epic speech. Judah’s monologue to Joseph changes the course of history — instead of falling into a future of despair and misery for the house of Jacob, Judah’s speech saves Benjamin and reunites the entire family.
