Rebbetzin, perhaps you can give me some advice. To the reader in last week’s column the solution was simple – become religious. But I am religious – and any joy I initially found in Judaism has been sucked out. It’s disappeared. I am left with expensive kosher meals, hot clothes in the summer, and Shabbos plans I often dread making.

How is it that when so few Jews want to lead Torah lives, He leaves so many of us who actually do single?
