Chimpanzees and Orangutans eat Matza, unleavened bread traditionally eaten during the Passover holiday, at the Ramat Gan Safari on Thursday, April 17, 2014. I hope they can digest it.

On Passover no leavened bread (Chametz) is allowed in Jewish possession, and that includes food we feed our animals.

  1. They aren’t Jews, related to us, or even human. They are lesser Apes only. Pesach has nothing to do with them, their habitat, or anything else to do with them. They didn’t witness Moses at Mt. Sinai with 3 Million of their kind. They just mimic their surroundings, and their TRAINERS. Matzah to them is as good as Shortcake. It means nothing to them at all. It could have been garbage instead, and they wouldn’t care. Perhaps giving Matzah to them would be better to have eaten the Garbage instead? That’s not for me to inquire. Torah Is our Best Bread. Only humans can eat it, and do what it says to do in it’s Commandments. The Apes wouldn’t care at all. Throwing good Matzah to them is a waste of both the Affliction Bread, and it teaches them nothing at all. Pesach is for humans, in particular Jews. It’s nothing to Apes. It’s a pure waste of effort, food and time.
