RivkA Matitya z”l : Move to Israel, Don’t Wait

Today is the 5th yahrzeit of RivkA Matityah z”l (Karin Zuckerman), who died of breast cancer at the young age of 44.

RivkA first came to Israel in 1987, and made Aliyah in 1989.

There probably wasn’t an English-speaking Oleh/Olah who lived in Jerusalem for those 2 decades who didn’t know the strong-willed, idealistic, enthusiastic, outgoing, Zionist and life-loving RivkA.

Here is a clip from an early Tuesday Night Live show in Jerusalem when they gave RivkA the mic. Ari didn’t know he wasn’t getting it back so easily.
