The fire department was called out on Saturday morning, to put out a fire in a three-story Jerusalem building, in the neighborhood of Ramot.

The fire department determined that the fire began when a 4-year-old boy, who was alone in the house with his siblings, began to play with matches. The fire quickly spread until the first floor apartment was destroyed, according to the Jerusalem fire department’s spokesperson Udi Gal.

Due to the quick response of the fire department, only one woman was lightly injured from smoke inhalation, and the rest of the building only suffered smoke damage.
