Israeli security forces arrested five terror suspects Wednesday night in the Samaria village of Qabatiya, home to two of the three Damascus Gate killers.

The arrests came as part of the Shin Bet investigation into the terror attack earlier in the day at the entrance to the Old City of Jerusalem.

The third terrorist in the cell who murdered a Border Guard Policewoman and wounded two others was a resident of nearby Jenin.

Shin Bet security personnel were searching for the driver who brought the terrorists to Jerusalem from the village, and other accessories who aided the attackers.

IDF soldiers also searched Qabatiya and Jenin for weapons and other contraband overnight Wednesday.

In addition, IDF engineers and Civil Administration officials mapped out the homes of the three terrorists overnight in preparation for demolition.

The slain officer, Hadar Cohen, hy’d, is to be laid to rest in a ceremony Thursday afternoon. The two policewomen who were also wounded in the attack – one very seriously – are hospitalized at Jerusalem’s Hadassah Mount Scopus Medical Center.
