Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has said there is “no way” he will recognize Israel as a Jewish State as part of a framework deal with Israel, the Palestinian official WAFA News Agency reported.

Recognition of Israel as a Jewish State is one of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s key demands during the peace talks. Reports indicate that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will add this demand to the U.S. framework for peace, which is expected to be released soon.
