Arab Knesset members held a moment of silence in the Knesset plenum Wednesday for the “hundreds of innocent civilians who have lost their lives during this war.”
The moment of silence was initiated by Balad MK Basel Ghattas, to mark the end of the first week of Operation Protective Edge.
“I cannot begin to speak without commenting on the political situation in which the shooting continues and innocent civilians are being murdered. I want to stand for a minute of silence in remembrance of the victims of this war that was preventable from the start.”
