Arab Knesset members held a moment of silence in the Knesset plenum Wednesday for the “hundreds of innocent civilians who have lost their lives during this war.”

The moment of silence was initiated by Balad MK Basel Ghattas, to mark the end of the first week of Operation Protective Edge.

“I cannot begin to speak without commenting on the political situation in which the shooting continues and innocent civilians are being murdered. I want to stand for a minute of silence in remembrance of the victims of this war that was preventable from the start.”

  5. stop the collective hipocresy…Hamas leaders are to be blamed for civilian casualties in Gaza; they are comiting genocide to their own people.

  7. Hamas is using human shields which kill innocent Palestinian civilians, shoots 100 rockets into Palestinian neighborhoods (and from Palestinian neighborhoods) killing Palestinian civilians, and yet people still think Israel is at fault for all of the Palestinian deaths?!?! I do not believe people are really that brainwashed that they would be even considering Israel is at fault in this..

  8. Uzi Kattan says:

Throw him out of the Knesset! You threw out Rabbi Kahane but won’t throw out this enemy.

  9. He took his head out of his ass for a few minutes!

  10. Tell them to get out of the way and they don’t have to worry about bowing their ****ing heads.

  11. Precisely! Thank you.

  14. A question, please: Do MKs swear a type of allegiance to Israel, something similar to “Pledge of Allegiance” or to uphold the Constitution in the US, in Israel or as Knesset members?

  15. Uzi is correct, you threw Kahane out, he must be thrown out as well

  16. Uzi is correct, you threw Kahane out, he must be thrown out as well

  17. Edna Frambes says:

Did he bow his head in honor of three innocent boys that Hamas killed for no reason?

  18. It’s called a loyalty pledge and the answer is no, but it needs to be instated.

  19. They stick up 3 fingers showing their happiness that Hamas killed our 3 boys, but bow their heads for civilian deaths in Gaza. Disgraceful. We did everything to safeguard civilians.

    INSTATE A LOYALTY OATH.

  20. Which would mean to me that Israel is extremely tolerant to allow enemies of the country, sympathizers with terrorist bent on destroying Israel to sit in the Knesset. Terrorists within and without.

  21. he needs to be chucked in gaza

  22. Nothing wrong with feeling grief or exhibiting grief over the senseless death of human beings. In this case, a little outrage at the Hamas animals causing this mess might also be good.

  23. You should be ashamed of worshiping a terrorist, lying pedophile from the seventh century that advocated killing Jews and Christians. And, as compliments of your cult, the beheadings on video, suicide bombers, raping of young girls, killing of prisoners who are tied up,a nd the desecration and destruction of churches and synagogues.

Take responsibility IsraHel, instead blaming Hamas

  26. Yehuda Pa says:

He should go over there to join his brothers and sisters. lol
