At around 9 PM, Border Police in the Bethlehem neighborhood of El Ayaadah, which is adjacent to Rachel’s Tomb but on the other side of the wall, shot and wounded an Arab teenager who was about to throw a bomb at them, according to the police spokesperson.

The terrorist was shot in the lower extremities before he could throw his pipe bomb. The terrorist was treated on site, and then transported to Hadassah Ein Karem hospital.

The bomb was neutralized by Border Police sappers.

No one else was injured in the attack.

As expected, the residents of El Ayaadah began rioting and throwing stones, and police used anti-riot gear to disperse them.
