Israel police caught an Arab who fled the scene after he tried to stab a Haredi Jew near Mea Shearim late Monday morning. The victim was not injured.

The suspect had fled, but police caught up with him and are questioning him.

Police said the attempted knifing was most likely a terrorist attack, but they have not released further details.
