Damascus gate, Jerusalem, 1912.

Dozens of Arabs attacked police near the Damascus gate (Sha’ar Shechem) who are guarding the Jerusalem Day Parade, according to the police spokesperson.

The Arabs threw rocks and bottles at the police, and also threw stones at some of the Jewish parade marchers.

One policeman suffered a head injury after being hit by a rock. He was treated on site.

At least one Arab was arrested for attacking the policemen.
