Netanyahu and Deri in the Knesset

Aryeh Deri told Galei Tzahal radio today that he will not sit in a leftwing government. He will also only recommend to President Rivlin that Benjamin Netanyahu form the next government.

Recent statements by Aryeh Deri may have left voters confused about Deri’s intentions.

In January, Deri said that he would be willing to sit together with Yair Lapid in a coalition.

On Wednesday, Deri said his positions are far from the Left’s, but yet he would be willing to uproot “isolated” settlements, throwing Jews out of their homes for the peace process.

For the country’s sake, hopefully his latest statement is true.
