The Australian Jewish Democratic Society (AJDS) recently launched a campaign calling on the boycott of goods produced in territories liberated after the 1967 Six Day War.

The website “Don’t Buy Settlement Products” seeks to garner support for the call.

According to an executive member of the AJDS, “the idea of not buying settlement products has become quite mainstream around the world, as people increasingly see a problem with the occupation.”

In a press release, the group claims that “Israeli settlements are seen…as a major obstacle to creating peace between Israelis and Palestinians…This sends a clear message that we will not be complicit in the settlement program.”

The left wing organization has also promised to work with “people throughout the various Australian Jewish and non-Jewish communities to cease buying settlement products.”

A list of companies operating in Judea and Samaria has been posted on their website and these include Ahava, SodaStream, Achva, and the Psagot and Binyamina wineries.
