Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has put a stop to his $2,700-a-year ice cream after Israel’s Calcalist business newspaper reported the expenditure.

The office of the Prime Minister said the ice cream bill was part of the cost of hosting foreign officials at his official home in Jerusalem, and Netanyahu admitted that the bill was “excessive and unacceptable.”

By the way, his favorite flavors apparerently are vanilla and pistachio, the Associated Press reported.
