On Monday afternoon, two Palestinians tried to enter the Tel Aviv Central Bus Station without any ID, and carrying a large knapsack.

The two had tried to enter via gate #45. The guards got suspicious and questioned them further.  When the Arabs, who said they were construction workers, could not say where they were working, the guards asked to check their bag. They immediately saw that the bag was full of metal pipes with wires, and other metal objects.

Assuming it was a bomb, the guards immediately called in an emergency, and the police and other emergency services arrived at the bus station.

Assuming the worst, the police cleared out most of the central bus station, and in particular the fourth floor, while the bomb robot examined the bag.

The robot determined that the pipes were not bombs.

The two Arabs were arrested.
