Cabinet Approves Plan for More Financial Assistance to Holocaust Survivors

The government approved a plan to increase financial assistance to Israel’s 193,000 remaining Holocaust survivors. The cabinet hopes the plan will go to legislation in the next Knesset session, and be approved.

The plan would increase monthly pensions, as well as 100% discounts on medications, as well as other medical benefits for the country’s remaining survivors.
