Israel’s renowned Dead Sea cosmetics company, Ahava, may soon change its name to “Ai,” which is Mandarin for love, as Chinese investment company Fosun has signed a deal to pay $76 million for the company which has been closely associated with Israel, especially in BDS hate campaigns. Ahava makes skin care products from mud and minerals from the Dead Sea. It has been under furious attacks in Europe because its plant, which employs many local Arabs, is located less than two miles on the “wrong” side of the “green line.”
