12:40am Israeli citizens in south claim to hear IAF attacks on Gaza.

12:37am Israel media outlets report that Israeli PM Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yaalon have instructed the IDF to retaliate against Hamas for the multiple rocket launches against Israel over the past few hours in defiance of the 72 hour ceasefire agreement.

Unconfirmed reports of IAF airstrikes in Gaza.

12:03pm Hamas claims it agreed to a 5 day cease-fire. No Israeli response yet.
Hamas also claims is did not fire the last few rockets.

11:50-51 pm Multiple rocket alerts Sdot Negev, Shaar HaNegev, Netivot. Iron Dome intercepts one.

21:32pm Rocket fired. Not much of a cease-fire.

Egyptian officials claim that Hamas and Israel have both agreed to extend the cease-fire, an Egyptian source told Kol Yisrael.

It is not clear yet if this is true.

Either way, Israel’s minimalist response to the ongoing rocket attacks, as well as continuing negotiations with the Hamas terrorist organization are fundamentally wrong.

Arab sources (again) report that US President Obama personally intervened to make this latest cease-fire extension happen.
