Days after Reward Offer, New Brooklyn Knockout Attack Reported

By: JTA

A New York City councilman tweeted about a new knockout attack days after a Jewish council offered a reward for information leading to the arrest of attack perpetrators.

A 20-year-old woman was hit in the back of the head and fell to the ground while walking in the Flatbush section on Saturday afternoon, according to Councilman Chaim Deutsch.

“Working with the NYPD — they are investigating. Remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity,” Deutsch said in a tweet Saturday night.

In the so-called knockout game, attackers try to knock out someone with one punch. Nearly one dozen such attacks have taken place in the Brooklyn borough of New York City since September, most directed at identifiably Jewish people, according to reports.

The attack on Saturday came less than a week after the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction, or a finding of delinquency, of individuals responsible for the reported “knockout” assaults in New York.

Other incidents of knockout attacks have occurred in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., as well as other U.S. states, according to reports.

Is it time for the Jewish population to strike back at these renegade Black Thugs.? Maybe a few hits on their heads with baseball bats will give them a lesson. That's theonly thing I know of that will "knock some sense into them"

Are the New York City Police too busy stopping and frisking in the wrong areas to defend Jews? While I think he a bit much, I do believe Bill Bratton will take care of these thugs. In the meantime is there no one willing to fight back? Jews can get permits to carry and can legally use weapons to fight back!

  4. Moishe Sachs says:

You may think someone committed one of these unthinkable cowardly crimes & be wrong. Dumping politicians who support making pistol ownership difficult & making sure to be constantly vigilant when walking on the street so as to be able to block or avoid a punch from a sub-vermin coward terrorist thug & having a mace can or pistol in your hand are the only things I can think of that make sense. I'd rather spend a year in jail for carrying in NY City without a permit than be murdered by a piece of sewer scum.

  5. Yechiel Baum says:

Isnt it time for al "reverand" Sharpton to put his fat body where is big mouth is and patrol the streets teaching his people morality or is he too busy skimming money like Arafat from macy's for profiling. This too is profiling but by the black community who forgot who their allies were during their fight for equality. It was another big Jewish mistake and should have left them where they were and focus on our freedoms.

  6. the u.s. media stopped reporting on it due to the perpetrators being blacks who assault Jews. the media wouldn't want to be called "racist".
