Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon mentioned today the anti-8200 (Military Intelligence) letter, while speaking at the International Cyber Conference at Tel Aviv University.

Yaalon said that the letter was not about conscientious objection, but was written for political reasons.

He revealed that most of the 43 people who signed the letter do not do any reserve duty, only a couple of them were actually involved in SigInt on Arabs in Judea and Samaria, and the last time any of them did any reserve duty at all was back in 2009.
