Scuba divers found her body approximately 60 feet underwater off the southwestern coast of Thailand.

She apparently had been trapped in a bathroom on the boat. Her parents and brother survived the disaster.

All other passengers and crew numbering 110 were rescued as the boat went up in flames and sank within several minutes.

The blaze broke out in the area of the ship where the bathrooms were located, and all of the passengers except for the girl were able to put on life vests and jump in the water before being evacuated by rescue boats.
