This Thursday night (yes, on Purim) Israel officially moves to “summer time,” by moving the clock forward one hour. (Remember that old adage, ‘spring forward, fall back …’)

Thursday night before going to sleep, don’t forget to move your clock forward an hour. (For those who have had an exceptionally wonderful Purim, make sure your ‘designated driver’ is handling the clock.)

You’ll lose an hour’s sleep, but at least it will be a brighter day by the time you roll out of bed!

Israel returns to standard time on October 30, 2016.
