A double suicide bombing in the center of Damascus morning killed at least two people and injured two dozen others, according to a regime-operated television station.
The reported attacks coincide with what appears to be the upper hand that Hezbollah has given forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar Assad. They are prep raring to recapture the commercial center of Aleppo, which the rebels have controlled.
Obama administration officials are meting this week to decide whether to arm Syrian rebels, a move that could turn the tide in favor of the rebels.
However, the opposition forces include Al Qaeda and other organizations, making direct American aid problematic.
