W Motors Lykan Hypersport -- what Middle Eastern Arab oil moguls consider the ultimate in luxury transport.

What do Arab oil moguls do with their money when they are not busy aiding Syrian refugees or the Palestinian Authority?

Well… some of them are investing in fancy new cars — like the world’s first Arab super car, produced locally in the Middle East exclusively by W Motors.

Ralph R. Debbas, CEO of the Dubai-based firm, told CNN in an interview posted on Sunday (Sept. 6) that one of the car’s most attractive features was not even necessary. But it did help make sure the car was noticed by the right people.

“Diamonds in the headlights are something we don’t need at all, actually,” he told CNN. “It was a true marketing gimmick that we integrated. But people talk about it.”

Yes, diamonds. In the headlights. It’s just a trimming, really.

The seats are stitched with gold threads on the $3.4 million Lykan Hypersport. The car has a 3.7-liter 780bhp, twin-turbo flat-six which can go from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds – faster than the power-focused Lamborghini Aventador – and reaches a top speed of 395 km/h.

But Debbas pointed out that it’s not all about performance. The client he’s after already has the kind of vehicle that can give him all that. “He wants something different,” Debbas underlined .

Therefore, with W Motors a buyer gets something “more.”

A global servicing system comes with the press of a button in the car that will even summon W-trained engineers to wherever the client is in the world.

A special 24/7 concierge service is included, along with a watch designed by Swiss luxury watchmaker Franck Muller.

But perhaps the real unique sales pitch is the fact that only seven Hypersport cars will be produced. Ever.

Now — what was that item in the news about making good on pledges to the Palestinian Authority, and allowing in refugees from Syria?
