Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit the Gaza Strip at the end of May, the Istanbul-based daily Hurriyet reported Sunday.

Erdogan promised to visit Gaza after Turkey and Israel reconciled their three-year rift, as Israel apologized for killing nine Turkish citizens aboard a Gaza-bound activist ship in 2010.
