Improvised explosive device (IED) attached to incendiary balloon landed in Rosh Tzurim in Gush Etzion on Jewish holiday of Sukkot, Sept. 27 2018

An explosive device attached to an incendiary balloon flown from Gaza landed Sunday afternoon in an avocado field belonging to a Jewish community in southern Israel, along the Gaza border.

Security personnel summoned the bomb squad to defuse the explosive. After clearing the area, a sapper neutralized the device.
