A female Arab terrorist was shot and killed midday Thursday (June 2) when she attacked an Israeli soldier at an IDF post near the village of Anabta in Samaria.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement that security forces at the scene “responded to the immediate threat by shooting the attacker, resulting in her death.”

Sources at the military post said initially the troops first tried to arrest the terrorist before firing.

There were no casualties among Israeli forces.

Anabta is located east of Netanya along Route 57, about ten minutes from the high-speed Highway 6 that runs from north to south.
