Terrorist's knife

IDF Border Guard Police prevented another female Arab wannabe terrorist from carrying out a planned attack Monday night at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron.

The police spotted the young Arab woman, a citizen of the Palestinian Authority, approaching them with a knife in her hand. But surprised by the swiftness of the police, she dropped the weapon. There was no gunfire, and the young woman, a resident of the Hebron suburb of Yatta, was taken into custody without any injuries.

She admitted during questioning after her arrest at the checkpoint that she had planned on carrying out a stabbing attack at the site, which is holy to both Jews and Muslims, in order to become a “martyr.”

The suspect was transferred to security personnel for further questioning.
