The home of the Shaag family in Amona was one of the last to be evacuated, on Thursday at 2:35 AM, according to Ehud Amitun of TPS, who witnessed the events unfolding.

It took eight-and-a-half hours for the police to remove the 150 activists who passively resisted after having chained and tied themselves up inside the home.

The evacuation of Amona’s synagogue is currently underway as of 7:30 AM on Thursday, where a few dozen activists are still in place.

On Wednesday, the Israeli Supreme Court cancelled the government’s agreement with the residents that provided the Amona residents with plots of land on another location on the mountain.
