Israel’s Channel 2 News reports that in a meeting held  between Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov and Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, the latter clarified Israel’s position on events in Syria, stating that Israel will provide immediate humanitarian aid to the victims of President Assad.

Yesterday, the Red Cross entered the besieged city of Homs to provide humanitarian aid  to residents. After a month under a bloody siege, the convoy reached the city and delivered supplies to residents. The operation was conducted in cooperation and coordination with the local Red Crescent Society, who delivered seven trucks to the city’s neighborhoods, including Baba Amar which suffered heavy fire.
